When I was growing up people would tell my brothers and me that we should open a catering company because we loved to dabble with baking and cooking, and we were good at it. After graduating culinary school and then working as a chef, I learned to never give up on my craft.
 

Around this time I was turned on to specialty coffee. I loved it. I downed numerous specialty coffee shop cups of coffee a day, and used the energy to develop my new obsession. I started by roasting coffee beans in my oven on a cookie sheet foil (a mistake). The smell from the smoke lasted for days.
 

I honed my abilities while searching for a perfect spot for my Roastery and Coffee Shop. When a spot opened up on 13th Avenue, my dream finally came true.
